Pormenor Ginga TintoPormenor Ginga Tinto is a light, low intervention red from the Douro in northern Portugal, made from traditional Douro grape varieties such as Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Rufete. On the nose and palate expect fresh red berry and plum fruit, wild cherry, a lively mineral streak and soft, easy tannins accented by a slight crispness and schist driven freshness. As a playful, light, fresh red, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats,

the herb infusion was blended with one of their reserve sparkling base wines and allowed to mature and integrate for a short period before bottling

Malolactic fermentation is discouraged to keep it crisp and the wine aged for at least 2 years on lees before disgorgement

The palate is bright and finely etched

A small number of artisanal coopers were selected from Burgundy and Rhone

village wine and the rest as more basic Côtes du Rhône Villages

Annaberg comes from one of the few hillside sites on the Mosel in which the typical grey slate morphs into a copper-coloured red slate
