Mid 20th Century oil on canvas abstract painting - RedWe have been fortunate to find on our last trip to France a selection of mid century Abstract oil on canvas paintings. All by and signed 'Micha' dated to the 1960's. The canvas is heavy giving these a lovely texture which compliments the styling perfectly. Bold pieces and all great as stand alone paintings or could be used in a group. This example is bold shades of red. Strong colours and can be hung portrait or landscape. 60cm x 50cm

The condition is also good with minor age related marks but nothing to take away from the piece and it is also totally original

The Whytock and Reid stamp is inside two of the drawers

The shape of the chairs is very elegant with shaped side rails and subtle scroll detail to the arms and back

The size makes it hugely decorative and its overall condition is very good

The top has wonderful figuring to it as well

Great size making it a real feature in a room

There is a signature in the shade that I am not sure if it related just to the shade or the lamp as well

The bamboo design is fabulous and will work well in a great number of interiors

One of the other designs I love is the circular pegged details between planks

The marble has a nicely shaped edge as well
