TroubadourYou cant talk about the Troubadour without delving into the wild, untamed rock and roll culture that defined the Sunset Strip in the 1970s and 80s, a chaotic, almost lawless era where anything seemed possible, and excess was the norm. The venue, which was initially opened by Doug Weston in the 50s, played a part in kickstarting so many of the careers of your favourite artists. It was here that acts like Elton John, James Taylor, and The Eagles found

and it was incredible walking around and learning about all the movie history tucked into every corner

especially when it’s a niche place like this

I originally illustrated the Stahl House as a way to escape my own dreary surroundings

it originally seated 678 people

I went here before heading to a live taping of Jimmy Kimmel on Hollywood Boulevard

they’re known for being busy restaurants

Like many spots on my list

mainly to visit Galaxy’s Edge

but this view was simply too iconic to ignore

Although some people call In-N-Out overrated (I strongly disagree)
