1981 Tokai Cat's Eyes Japan CE-1200TW 12-String AcousticTokai's flagship 12 string model from the Cat's Eyes catalog released in 1981. The CE 1200TW were a special order model and featured a solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides and a rosewood fingerboard loaded with abalone inlays. 48mm nut width, 40cm lower bout, 29. 5cm upper bout and a nice 2. 5mm action on the low E's, it's been professionally serviced and is ready to go. The tuners have been replaced otherwise it appears all original.

Custom ordered from the Fujigen factory in late 1980
carbon comp resistors and legendary NOS LM308N chip are the main ingredients in this awesome recipe
They were favoured heavily by metal bands in the 80's and are still just as popular today with guitarists looking for an iconic metal tone
There was some light separation of the binding along the top of the neck which led to some paint chipping as pictured
