1987 Aria Pro II Japan Stage-III K-pi Mega Metal Superstrat (Airbrushed)

1987 Aria Pro II Japan Stage-III K-pi Mega Metal Superstrat (Airbrushed)Part of the very short lived "Mega Metal" series of Japanese made Superstrats made by Aria Pro II in the late 80's, this Stage III model appears to have been professionally airbrushed by "Hot Stuff".. Solid body with a maple neck and bound 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), it weighs 3. 6kg's. Loaded with the original Kahler tremolo system however the active EQ was removed by a previous owner so the mini toggles are purely for show.

These were factory loaded with a licensed Kahler tremolo system

Originally these were factory loaded with very unpopular Dimarzio Collection pickups and the previous owner took the borderline psychopathic route by having three Seymour Duncan mini humbuckers installed (SL59-1N Little '59 SCR-1 in the neck

TRS-101 locking tremolo system and Gotoh locking tuners

clear and articulate tone similar to Ebony

truss works as it should and the electronics sound great
