1988 Fender Japan ST72-65 '72 Reissue Blackmore Scalloped Stratocaster (White)Part of the famous "E Series" of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in the mid to late 1980's, this is a rare "unofficial" Richie Blackmore model in Olympic White. This one dates to 1988 (based on the pot codes) and is built with a basswood body bolted to a maple neck and a factory "Blackmore" style scalloped rosewood fingerboard. 7. 25" radius with a nice slim C profile neck, weighs 3. 7kg's. The frets have plenty of life and are shiny and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss

o Master Level Control provides an overall variable range of signal boost up to +20db

however they've been upgraded with the inclusion of a tone knob (labelled Brilliance)

The binding along the cutaway has lifted slightly but is still solid and there's some small paint cracking along the neck joint but nothing to be concerned about
