1974 Greco RB800 Neckthrough 4003 Bass (Natural)Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1974, the RB800 was a high end 4003 model that comes very close to the original in looks, feel and sound. Neckthrough construction with a select maple body, three piece maple walnut neck, 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (43mm nut width), it weighs a very reasonable 3. 9kg's. Factory loaded with a pair of Maxon "Wide Range" bass humbuckers controlled by independent volume tone controls. This model replicates the

maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard

Very clean condition as pictured with some very light wear and tear as pictured

Overall it's in clean vintage condition with some typical playwear for a mid-80's shredder

Frets are well used but were polished and play well with plenty of life left

these never appeared in any catalogs and were only sold within Japan

It is the perfect fingerboard material in that it eliminates wolf tones or hot spots

Looks to be all original with Fender Japan pickups

Nice compact body with a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard
