It was made both, to pass the time, and as an attempt to create income. It has been created using a repurposed 1920's 1930's quilt, and this quilt consists of; a mix of mainly pastel pure cotton fabrics sewn together, pure cotton batting (layer between the fabrics) and cotton hand ties (the small ties throughout were originally

This iconic 70's coat is in very good condition with what appear to be 2 small cigarette burn marks (see photos)
