Such a special piece one is in the costume collection at the Met. The bodice is made up of fanning pleated ruffles. Peaches and cream. Sheer nylon tricot. Sheer top layer with a more opaque lining. Double spaghetti straps. Waist ties attach at the front waist and wrap around the waist. Skirt is sheer and cut full and floaty.
Condition: excellent - one small repair that gets lost in the pleats and under the overlap
Fitted bodice with that iconic gathering under the bust and gorgeous lace peeking through the sheer top layer
Slight soiling to the hem remains from dragging on the big day
Tucks and pleats give fit to the bodice and the skirt
