1990 Orville Japan (by Gibson) LPS-75 Les Paul Standard (Lemon Drop)The closest thing you will get to a Japanese made Gibson is something with Orville on the headstock! Made in Japan in 1990, the LPS 75 was a mid range model from the Orville catalog featuring a mahogany body with a solid maple top, a mahogany medium 60's neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Weighing in at 4. 5kg's, it's loaded with the factory Orville humbuckers (modelled after Gibson's '57 PAF's), full sized Japanese pots and Japanese hardware.

There's some fading and sticker tan visible on the pickguard and the knobs were replaced

while other ‘70s-inspired features include bullet truss rod nut

This one has seemingly be modified over the years and features a Gotoh locking tremolo system along with a Seymour Duncan 59n in the neck position and an ESP LH-200 in the bridge (wired with a three-way selector

the active mid boost circuit was removed from this one and it now has standard Stratocaster wiring

It features a built-in piezo pickup in the bridge section

superb resonance and sustain

appears all original except for some new locking nut components

We had this one professionally refinished in a glossy shell pink in late 2023 using a soft acrylic finish that's closer in feel to nitrocellulose than a thick poly shell

Nice honest condition for a late 70's guitar with a few cosmetic signs of wear and tear and no breaks
