ApivarApivar is the only registered amitraz based treatment against varroa mites, available in the form of easy to use plastic strips designed for insertion into the hive. Apivar is one of the simplest mite treatments to apply. The strips are placed in the brood nest and left in place for 42 days. This extended treatment period ensures the effective control of varroa mites, reaching multiple generations of emerging brood with just a single application.
