Narex Cranked-Neck Paring ChiselsNarex Chisels are made in the Czech Republic and are an exceptional value for the price. The blades are made from fine grained, chrome manganese steel and hardened to HRC 59, and hold an excellent edge. They are accurately ground and the edges are tapered to a narrower land than standard bench chisels. These crank neck paring chisels have the neck bent at about a 30 angle which offsets the handle and allows the chisel to access hard to reach places

The tilting plate is an additional purchase and is not included in the price of the vise

It is about 200 mm (8") in length

They are supplied with an unfinished wooden handle and a plastic case

it works equally as well on softer woods
