Helle Nordlys

Helle NordlysNordlys is the ultimate allround fulltang knife for outdoor use. Even before we launched the Nord, we knew we wanted to make a smaller sibling. Something that retained the possibilities for multiple grips and preserved the utilitarian blade shape of our bushcrafting machine, but smaller, lighter and therefore easier to bring on your everyday adventures. Nordlys means Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) in Norwegian. Lys means both light and fair.

The 162S has a tighter curve than the 163 but similar in that since it's sharp on both sides it works equally well with a left or right handed grip

We were quite happy to get it in as a "Blade Only"

making it ideal for coastal areas

without limiting the user but rather allowing him or her to develop carving techniques and grow as a knife user
