The chair itself is very elegant and has wonderfully shaped arms. A style that I have not seen before and seems to wrap around you when you sit in the chair.

Overall condition is clean and the colour is nicely even

The drawers have gilt metal handles and open and close smoothly

there are a few age related repairs to the base but they are sympathetically done and not noticeable

The only additions have been to the interior which is now shelved with later pine shelves

Nice size as well

Overall condition is very good with no major marks or issues

an approach which is part of the long tradition of what is called "bridal mysticism"
