This 4 day workshop will take participants through the process of making a Damascus Steel Wrapped Axean object that is as beautiful as it is functional. Originally used to make steel tough, resistant to shattering and capable of being honed to a sharp resilient edge, the swirling patterns of Damascus steel have been used

Today Damascus steel is highly desired for its beautiful marbled steel pattern

Next we will form and dish the copper with a variety of blacksmithing tools and techniques such at anvils

This intensive 4 day master class is a rare chance for beginning and seasoned blacksmiths to add to their knowledge and tool collection

before heat-treating the blades to ensure the steel becomes hard-wearing
