Nor any knots that are bigger than a third of the cross section of the timber. The timber is also dressed which gives a smooth, rounded finish. Macrocarpa is naturally durable so doesn't need treatment to last like Pine does. This makes it safe to use for vegetable gardens. NOTE the garden in the picture is landscape grade. More
