This rod is from the earliest days of Fenwick (1955 1962). This one is an early model denoted by its mylar under wraps. The rod is in excellent+ original condition. It differs from my later rods by the following two details: there is a wooden lip on the reel seat where it meets the rear of the grip and the wraps are a slightly darker shade of red then the current "may rose" color that I would later settle on (with edges that are also slightly darker)
