"On My Way," 30" x 24”Acrylic on Canvas. As a young girl, I watched Anne of Green Gables every year with my sisters at least twice. Once when we were snapping beans and shelling peas from the garden, and again at Christmas time when it was on TV. It was tradition. As a girl, I never dreamed that I would go to Prince Edward Island, nor that I would live within a 3 hour drive. Its a dream come true. Nova Scotia artist Joanne MacLennan has been an artist her whole life.
