SOLDI'm working on a collection called "Masterworks: As I see It." I've chosen 10 works of art by master artists and I've changed them I've substituted people of color and I've shoved in a whole bushel full of political opinion. This is a study for the piece called "LIBERTY". It's modeled after Michelangelo's Pieta, but instead of Holy Mary Mother of God holding her son, I've used Liberty who is holding the men, women, and children who are being slain by

40" x 40" (same size as original)

and children who are being slain by senseless violence in our country

after all the racism

The 16" x 20 print comes matted and presented in a dark brown oak wood frame  for ONE price

"Fleeting Moment" is about how quickly time passes

"  This was created when I was trying to decide how to place Liberty's hand

signed and numbered lithograph on paper

and individuals have asked for limited licenses to use "He Ain't Heavy" to promote what they are doing

I've hand finished these canvases and they look better than the original drawing that I created more than three decades ago
