A true and welcoming sign of spring for sure

I wanted to keep it soft and playful

she finds a deep sense of connection to water and land

Using peonies in various stages of bloom also creates thoughts of process/movement

The composition is balanced in a harmony with the greenery and the flowers

in our gardens and all around us in the summer season

I find working with the light and dark fluid paints brings a balanced energy between the two through the series and as a whole

After months of solitude

The first layer is a coating of acrylic paint in vibrant teal

Individually hand-numbered and signed by the artist

even the creams and whites altered as I continued my journey of the process

it feels like a breath of fresh ocean air and being reminded of the endless possibilities at play
