Wheaten Marans are part of the Marans family and are known for their larger bodies, feathered feet and with our breeding lines they have a very docile demeanor. They lay speckled brown and are known for carrying a heavy bloom. We have paired them with other wheaten feather varieties and they are quickly becoming one of our favorite Rustic Egger varieties.
