A very nicely done rod from one of the Leonard captains
these boxes sell for less than a Hardy Neroda box
The rod is in excellent condition having been fished sparingly and cared for well
The Leonard step ferrules are oxidized and the tips are differentiated with one and two dots after the serial number

These reels preceded the introduction of the Deluxe II models and there were only 10 sets made of each the narrow and wide drum three-reel sets
