Pink's Hot DogsDoes it get more LA than Pinks? I made my way there once with every intention of finally trying one of their iconic hot dogs, but the queue was so impossibly long that I admitted defeat. Its still firmly on my bucket list though. Even without eating there, I remember just hanging around the area, taking it all in. Theres something almost charming about how unassuming the place is; maybe Im wrong, but if you didnt know its history, youd probably walk

I later learned that this particular location is near UCLA

as well as the last thing you glimpse before you leave

I’ve always loved it

and the Adamson House is such a stunning example

with Blade Runner being the most famous example

you feel like you could almost reach out and touch them

I think I spent just as long photographing that iconic sign outside as I did actually eating my meal

attempting to draw a detailed and deeply personal space like the Eames House was a challenge for me

and I love that playful nod to such uncertain times
