Medium dark cane, black wraps with gold and black edges, scarce hammer handle grip with downlocking black aluminum reel seat. The nickel silver ferrules are size 17 64 and 11 64 and fit together nicely. Overall the rod is in excellent original condition with the exception of both tips having fishing sets (that can be removed).

This is perhaps the earliest example of the "Hunt" model rod

but is a "neutral" reel and can be switched to LHW

I may have been the first person to put this rod together outside of the Young rod shop

This one is serial #18285 and is loaded with line and backing
