Winston R.L. / Tom Morgan - "Unity with the Universe" Fiberglass 8'6" 7wtFor sale here is a very special Tom Morgan fiberglass rod. 8 1 2 feet for a 7 weight line. Tom designed it when he was in San Francisco and named the rod "Unity with the Universe" because of its wonderful smooth casting qualities. He stated this is one of his most favorite rods from his days at Winston and also one of the greatest rod models Winston ever made. The rod has been fished sparingly and remains in near mint condition. It weighs 4 1 2 oz.
Moderately tempered cane with the classic brown/copper silks
The dimensions of this reel also make it unusual compared to its early peers
Gold finish
The hardware is oxodized black and the reelseat spacer is a lovely piece of bird's eye maple
Reels featured such as Arthur Walker salmon reels
Petite 5 1/4" cigar grip with blued nickel silver checks

This rod was produced during Phillipson's 3M era shortly after the lifting of the embargo with China in 1971
