Handmade Marcasite Heron BroochThis wonderfully detailed marcasite heron was a perfect little upscaled brooch project. I have sewn it onto a black felt background and added an additional fish and small sterling silver branch pin. The three separate elements were made to go together! Wear on its own or pile on with other brooches for a maximalist look.

The beads are big - the cross is big - it makes a HUGE impact

by moving them around and adding other larger beads and buttons into the frame
