Lot 067 - Antique Benedict Adam-Verd Copper Ashtray with Matchbook Holder, Pattern 2227, Manufactured by Benedict Manufacturing Company, 6-1/4" LAntique copper ashtray in the Benedict "Adam Verd" finish with an upright matchbook holder at the rear and two crescent shaped cigarette rests on the rim. The underside is stamped "Benedict Adam Verd" with the diamond shaped B. B. maker's mark and pattern number 2227. Manufactured by Benedict Manufacturing Company. Surface shows overall patina and tarnish with heavy verdigris and scratching to the bowl interior.
