Lot 051 - Vintage Keuffel & Esser Co. Surveying Compass with Sighting Vanes and Brass Tripod Fitting in Fitted CaseVintage Keuffel & Esser Co. surveying compass with a black dial face, silver degree ring, compass needle, and folding sighting vanes. The underside features a brass tripod fitting and is marked "E1534" in paint. The compass is housed in its fitted case with purple velvet lining. A brass tripod adapter is included in the case. The compass has not been evaluated for completeness or functionality and is offered as found.
Pre-Auction Notes: Gold fore edge and gold embossed decorations and lettering on spine
The Dome of the Diaphragm is seen in the opened Thoracic Cavity
and it is possible it was re-upholstered at a point
The lunch box features scenes from the legend of Robin Hood
perhaps a repair
