Dodge, Enameled American Shield and Laurel Wreath, 1919Antique World War I victory medal on a watch chain with T bar and swivel clasp, dated 1919. The front of the medal is inscribed "Presented by the Citizens of Grafton N. H. to Russell J. Dodge" with "Victory" on a banner at the bottom. An enameled American shield in red, white, and blue is centered at the top, flanked by the date "19 19," and the text is framed within a raised laurel wreath border. The reverse is inscribed "In Commemoration of Your
