In-N-Out LAX

In-N-Out LAXI always make it a point to stop here before my flight back home. Its technically within walking distance of LAX, well, and its the perfect way to get one last taste of LA before you leave. Theres a viewing spot right across the road where planes soar so close overhead, you feel like you could almost reach out and touch them. Its another bittersweet building for me, because being here almost always means my trip is coming to an end.

I loved the idea that someone could glance at their print and decide what they wanted to order ahead of time

but every time I came back there was a different car parked right in front

and it’s the one building I always keep my eyes peeled for

preserving a sense of old-school magic and ceremony

Both equally deserving of their pop culture fame

It was here that acts like Elton John

yet it was so deeply woven into LA’s memory

and I credit it as the one that truly started getting people’s attention

I still knew that something about it was special

but I made a point of going to the old building to pay my respects once it had shut its doors
