We have combined Joy's squirrel and cats with vintage carved coral beads and tiny vintage bakelite flower buttons

The necklace from which it hangs consists of some lovely pearls

which may have been from a wonderful cocktail garment

I really wanted to make it into something special to wear so I have hand beaded a bezzle surround which encases the clockface safely

The centerpiece to this double stranded necklace is a large beadwork flower in dark aubergine and soft purple colours with just a hint of minty green which I have used as the inspiration for the double-stranded necklace

The two were made for each other
