Antique Prattware Covered Dish Dresser Box Titled "Uncle Toby"Here is a lovely antique prattware dresser box a small covered dish with an image on the cover entitled "Uncle Toby." This 19th century piece has significant condition issues, and as are all items in my store, is being sold as is. Please note that the lid has been severely cracked and repaired with glue and that there is much chipping on the bottom rim of the lid, including one big chip which is missing. The body of the box is in much better

They feature French animal sculptor Antoine-Louis Bayre's distinctive lion design

There are some cosmetic scuffs on the face of the clock consistent with age and use

that reminds me of similar masks I have seen pertaining to the Odd Fellows fraternal organization

There are slits in the eyes to see through

the frame will need to be opened
