We made a hand-quilted replica of the original using rotary-printed fabric

The original historical textile was a five-inch by five-inch unfinished quilt square in these unusual colors

They are cut from lightweight linen yardage developed for spring and summer and can be worn alone or with the matching suit jacket

This shirt is inspired by a baby quilt from the 1940s

We reproduced the floral patterns in colorful beadwork down the side seam and around the hem
