Early 19th century Mahogany and black marble Gueridon tableThis is a classic early 19th century Gueridon table in fabulous condition. I think the deep rich red of the mahogany works so well with the black veined marble. A particularly classy combination. The table is also very neatly proportioned which means it can be placed a huge number of spaces and wont dominate. The base is a classic columned design with carved legs and paw feet. The originality of the piece is superb and the patina to the two plank elm top makes this a great decorative items as well

The top can be made domed or flat depending on you preference and the rope holding the lid open can also be changed if you prefer

The top and shelf are in a exotic wood effect veneer which makes the table hugely attractive

The design first and foremost is striking with the serpentine front and hoof feet
