Moderate but not really invasive wood serves as a backdrop for the mix of various dark berry fruit elements where additional breadth is present in the form of earth

Strong sous-bois aromas blend with slightly astringent lightweight flavors with not much supporting material or length

it’s an intellectual interpretation of Cabernet Sauvignon

spice and pure red and dark berries

Very delicate and fresh on the palate

This is austere but not really rustic and should amply reward mid to long-term cellaring

Dense ruby/purple in color

The 1993 finishes with slightly greater focus

Its creamy freshness is further emphasised by the textural delicacy of its mousse

it's splitting hairs at this level

I would further note that the 2017 is a relatively elegant example and

rose petal and lightly spiced aromas
