Lot 092 - Antique Folk Art Carved and Burned Wood Relief Panel "The Bold Buccaneer" With Pirate, Jolly Roger, and Noose, Inscribed to the Crew of the Ship "Stand Pat," New Haven, Connecticut, August 1907, 12-5/8" W x 19-7/8" HCarved wood panel featuring a relief carved rotund pirate figure holding a jug, set within an arched frame. A Jolly Roger pirate flag is carved in the upper left corner and a hangman's noose in the upper right. The text "The Bold Buccaneer" is carved along the bottom edge. The reverse bears a hand inscribed dedication beneath a drawn umbrella: "In memory of that eventful cruise on the good ship, 'Stand Pat,' from New Haven, Ct. to Mansfield Grove and
