1997 Orville Japan (by Gibson) LPS-80F Les Paul Standard (Cherry Sunburst)The closest thing you will get to a Japanese made Gibson is something with Orville on the headstock! Made by the Fujigen factory in 1997, the LPS 80F was a mid range model from the Orville catalog featuring a mahogany body with a solid maple top (flaunting a Cherry Sunburst "fotoflame" laminate), a mahogany slim 60's neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Weighing in at 4. 2kg's, it appears all original with Gotoh hardware and Japanese humbuckers.
