Description
Antibiotic Assay Discs, 13mm, WhatmanFor defining the causal agent of infectious diseases and, using the inhibition zone determination method, check their sensitivity to antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents in vitro. An antibiogram allows rational and selective chemotherapy. Test discs can be coated with chemotherapeutic agents, placed on inoculated nutrient agar and incubated. The size of the inhibition zone provides a measure for the effectiveness of the treatment agent.
Recommended temperature range -80°C to 121°C (autoclaving is not recommended)
