1980 Yamaha Japan SA-700 ES-335 Semi Hollowbody Electric Guitar (Persimmon Red)Japanese made in 1980, the SA 700 was a mid range ES 335 sized model from Yamaha. Bound beech top back with a birch centre block, generous C profile mahogany neck and a bound 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length), it weighs just over 4kg's. Loaded with the original pots and Yamaha branded pickups (one replacement chrome cover). Only light cosmetic wear as pictured, a very clean vintage guitar! Received a full professional clean

The 9-string is incredibly cool tonally and is much more comfortable on your fingers than a full 12-string

the neck is an oval medium C profile and plays comfortably with a 42mm nut width and a 7

Has an Ibanez branded Super 80 humbucker in the neck position with the Flying Fingers on the gold cover and what looks to be another Super 80 in the bridge position (although it's not branded)

Pots are scratchy when turned but are functional as is
