This wine is most well known for its creamy body and full spectrum of flavors from a wild fermented brew

the Reguengo wine are quite different from other Alentejo producers in that they are all lower in alcohol and favor finesse over power

and seek out new challenges

the Arena family split up the family's holdings in Patrimonio

and fruit trees for future generations

but this wine has done just that

Another co-ferment of Grenache Noir

smoky and fresh

and a little note of Parmesan rind on the finish make this more complex than it would seem at first glance

but outside the DO

I've looked at some pictures of the place

but will include field blends of mixed fruit fermentations in the future
