1960's Teisco Japan Model Z 6-String Lap Steel GuitarA very vibey 6 string lap steel from Teisco made in the 1960's. Restrung and tuned to open G, fully functional electronics and sounds great!
An unknown build imported from Japan recently
Factory loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan SH-1n/4 pickups (with the covers removed) and Gotoh hardware
Glossy black basswood body bolted to a C profile maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (12" radius
The CE-2 removed the vibrato setting
3kg's (making it much more playable than some of the 5kg builds from a similar era)

The frets are shiny and still have plenty of life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss
the frets show some wear but play smoothly
