1980's Maxon Japan CP-9 Vintage CompressorThe Maxon CP 9 was a compressor built for the Japanese market in the 1980's. Features the same circuit as the Ibanez variant, these offer great vintage analog compact compression!

If you're a beginner or rocking on a budget

this Rhoads is part of the Grover Jackson "Supreme" series of guitars that were the Japanese equivalent of the Jackson Custom Shop

Neck is straight and the truss is working well

there's a small section of binding rot but otherwise it's solid with no breaks or repairs

Loaded with a Seymour Duncan Basslines humbucker controlled by a master volume knob with a push/pull boost

Loaded with a factory Seymour Duncan in the bridge and a Sustainer system in the neck controlled by master volume/tone controls and a three-way selector along with a sustain on/off switch and a three-way sustainer mini toggle (the overtone setting squeels with some feedback so the internal trimpots might need adjusting but the regular sustain settings function perfectly)

the original grey back ST-Vintage alnico single coils have the "E" stamp on them (making it a transitional model as these were first seen on early 1978 model ST's) and are controlled by the original three-way selector

Lossy captures the special kind of degradation that happens to digital audio when it’s shrunk

Appears to be all original except for a new tuner ferrule

tested and working well for a vintage pedal although the SIREN switch can be temperamental and may need to be serviced

it's loud acoustically and crystal clear when plugged in
