French Army F1 Webbing SuspendersIn the 1970's, the French Army designed and issued the F1 olive combat uniform & all its web gear components. These webbing harnesses were used right through well into the first Gulf War period. These suspenders are incredibly simple (in fact, possibly too simple!).
