1978 Fender USA Mustang (Sunburst)

1978 Fender USA Mustang (Sunburst)Unreal little guitars from the 1970's that provide a bunch of value for the price in the "affordable vintage" world. Nice hefty ash body on this one wearing a three tone sunburst finish with a glossy maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3. 9kg's. Looks to be all original as pictured with light wear from general use but overall it's a well cared for and well loved vintage guitar. The frets have some wear and tear but still have life

but with modern features

this is a JB62 '62 reissue model that was converted into a fretless Jaco model by a previous owner

This one seems to have had the original USA pickup swapped out with a generic Japanese one but still has the original tuners and bridge that both work perfectly

Weighing just under 4kg's and loaded with the a set of aftermarket Bareknuckle True Grit humbuckers and Hipshot locking tuners

1-pc quartersawn mahogany neck with a '50s rounded profile

Made in Japan in 1984

All original except for a vintage Dimarzio Super Distortion in the neck position
