Martin and Anna Arndorfer "Martha Rouge" Kamptal 2020Direct Press Selection October 2021 Press 4 Mix Press 4 Red Martin and Anna Arndorfer both come from a long line of winemakers in the Kamptal and Wachau region of Austria, and are thus able to make wine in a wide range of styles, from classic and polished to wild and funky. Some of my favorite wines from them have been the 'daughter wines' named after each of their three daughters. The ros is named for Marie, the oldest, and the wine is made

He was already doing excellent organic work in his beautiful hillside vineyards surrounded by oaks and boxwoods

At 96 proof

The finished wine was then aged for 6 months and bottled unfiltered with a tiny dose of sulfur

sweeter apples to balance the intensity of the others
