Pieces Hand Knotted Rug||Sky and SunEskayels Pieces rug is a graphic pattern loosely based on the playful lines of a jigsaw puzzle. In the Sky and Sun colorway, it features a flat weave base of yellow and orange against shaggy pile sections in shades of blue. The bright palette was inspired by the unique scenery of San Diego, with its vibrant skies, burning sun, and glowing sunsets over the open sea.

With an aesthetic that references graffiti

with the imagery rendered in the aquarelle technique that gives the collection its name

Ocean is a colorway of light blues

and palm trees using this idea to create one continuing line and interchanging vibrant colors as my parameters in the design process
