1980's ESP Japan 400 Series Stratocaster (Candy Apple Red)Made in Japan in the mid 1980's, the ESP 400 Series Stratocaster is exactly what you'd want from a professional grade Japanese guitar. There was one famously used by Kirk Hammett in Metallic's "One" music video, so that's a decent testament to their quality! Solid alder body with a glossy Candy Apple Red finish bolted to a maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard ('62 reissue profile with medium jumbo frets, 43mm nut width), it weighs 3. 7kg's.
