1997 Gibson USA Les Paul Classic Plaintop (Honeyburst)Made in the USA in 1997, this Les Paul Classic Plaintop is from one of the better recent periods of Gibson manufacturing. Mahogany back with a plain maple top and a smooth Honeyburst finish, slim 60's profile mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs just over 4kg's. Loaded with Gibson's 496R 500T humbucker set, this one appears to be all original. Good used condition as pictured with a professional minor headstock repair as pictured. Only

No signs of breaks or repairs to be seen and the serial is still clearly visible after the refinish

Made by the Tokai factory in Japan somewhere in the 2000's

Our tech gave it a full professional setup after he rebuilt it so it plays and sounds really nice with plenty of life in the shiny frets and a straight neck with a fully adjustable truss

the ST62-70 was Fender Japan's mid-range model '62 Reissue Stratocaster

Lightly used condition as pictured with some light signs of wear

master volume and tone knobs and a coil split for the humbucker

new strings and a truss adjustment along with polished frets (smooth with plenty of life)

the neck is straight and the truss works perfectly

Looks to be all original with the factory Greco humbuckers and Japanese tuners/hardware

so we took it to the workshop and gave it a basic setup/service to get it playing well

This one dates to 1987 and is built with a basswood body with a maple neck and a factory "Blackmore" style scalloped rosewood fingerboard
