1979 Fender USA 25th Anniversary Model Stratocaster (Anniversary Silver)

1979 Fender USA 25th Anniversary Model Stratocaster (Anniversary Silver)Made in the USA in 1979 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Stratocaster and this is one of approx 10,000 made. Built with an ash body bolted to a C shaped maple neck, it weighs 4kg's. "Modern" features including Sperzel tuners on the oversized headstock with a 4 bolt neck plate paired with vintage voiced pickups and a 6 point tremolo system, these were designed to be a celebration of the Stratocaster's history. A switch for the Ruetz mod has also been added to the RAT section and the germanium clipping diodes have been removed

Appears to be all original except for some vintage Gotoh tuners

Made in Japan in the mid 2010's as a high end artist model for Syu of Galneryus

The electronics were flushed and sound great

the frets are shiny with very little wear and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss

it's in good used condition overall with a few small bumps and bruises
