Sharon Britt Island Figurines-SBF5Living in Kauai for 50 years Sharon has collected shells and fibers on the beach, in the valleys and all around her lush jungle yard. The pieces she makes are truly labors of love, taking endless hours, ensuring that they are alive with emotion when completed. Spellbound by observing oceanic art, the fibers she uses are the same universal fibers(papaya trees, palms and Hawaiian tree ferns) used pre contact, Sharon carrys them into contemporary time.
